How do i set up my xbox 360 online?

i have the elite. i need to know what i need to set it up online. i want to share the internet with my computer but dont know how to do it. i think i need a router but dont know where to get one. and my computer is in a different room.








how does the wireless network adapter work? i want to know if u can hook it up with just the adapter. and is it easier that way?How do i set up my xbox 360 online?
if you go wireless, then yes you will need a wireless router and the 360 wireless adapter. If you can avoid wireless, do it. Wireless is too slow with too many connectivity issues. You will notice more game lag and random signal drops with wireless.





If you can find a way to run an ethernet cable from an open port on your existing router to the back of your 360 (under your house or through the attic maybe), that is all you will need to do.





If your router does not have any open ports and you are not going to go with wireless, buy a switch and connect your incoming signal to it (the one currnetly connected to the PC). then just run a second cable from another open port on the switch to the back of the pc and a third to the 360.How do i set up my xbox 360 online?
