I have an xbox, and i want to run emulators on it (SNES, N64, Etc) and i have mechassault. I was wondering when i get action replay, or whatever it is called, how can i mod the xbox? I know you need to connect your xbox to the internet somehow with a router, since i have a mac, can i just connect the ethernet cable from the back of the xbox to the back of the mac and they could ';share'; the wireless internet?How do i softmod my xbox with mechassault? and can i connect my xbox online via ethernet from my mac?
In order to do this (share the internet) you need to make a bridge connection, i do not know to do this with a mac but mac users are always bragging about how macs are easier to use and its easy for a PC so it should be a snap. As for softmodding, this is a multi-step process and in the end it can and probably will be more costly and complicated then simply installing a mod-chip. There are many ways to do it though and xbox-scene.com lists them all, become a member and they will guide you through the process.
