You will need to buy the Xbox Wireless Adapter.
You can ethernet the 360 directly to the laptop if the laptop connects to teh internet via wireless router or wireless card...Once you have it ethernet to the laptop run Network set up on the laptop and allow other computers(360) to use the internet through the laptop..Make sure you are connected to the internet when you run network connections on the laptop....
THen on the 360 run setup for a wired connection (ethernet to laptop) and you should be all set...You don't need to buy anything for your 360 if your laptop already recieves internet.....Just ethernet the 360 to the laptop...
Your gonna need a wireless adapter which is $99.99 then you just need to scan with the network settings on your 360 but the adapter is a rip off all other game systems have it built in
To get on Xbox live you need a PC and a wireless router.
