ive recently got xbox 360 and was bored playing by myself or with friends... so i was wondering what i needed to play online. and how to set up the wires.. or w.e u do. so pleasee help meXbox 360 online?

first you need an internet cable modem. a motorola is a good one. you need an ethernet, and actual cable, and the plug of course. plug the ethernet into the back of the xbox. if u have an internet connection, 4 or five lights on the modem will be lit. the, form the dashboard, choose ';join xbox live'; and then follow the steps from there.
yea you need a member ship i rec gold cuz its sweet and you can use a wireless network adapter that will go off a wireless g router i belive you need your wep key wich you can get from your provider and you might need 14 zeros behind it but you can plug lan cable behind it
i have an xbox 360 so i know first if ur gonna use a wireless their is a plug on the back if u wanna connect it in to a comp (laptops don't work)in the back of the bottom thing not monitor ten u can try the trial buy then u can buy it on marketplace or at walmart
You need at minimum - an ADSL or faster connection.

An Xbox 360 Wireless adaptir IF using wireless
Then you need to sign up to Xbox Live Gold membership and you're RTG

buy an ether net cable get a tv and ur comp near eachother connect eather net to and from xbox360 xbox to comp on the xbox home page make account
