How Can I Play Online in My XBOX 360?

I have call of duty 3,4 and World at War, I already passed all of them, but now i want to play with other people around the country, but the problem is that i dont know how to get the internet or whatever is called to my 360....





Can someone please help me in giving me intructions to get the inertnet?How Can I Play Online in My XBOX 360?
ok this is very very simple, first you need to get xbox gold membership


xbox live for the 360 is in 2 levels


silver and gold


silver=everything gold has minus the online multiplayer and xbox live marketplace content will come a month after gold


gold=xbox marketplace, match making(xbox's system of multiplayer) and everything that hasta do with the internet





silver is free as long as you have a wifi reciever on your xbox or an ethernet cable(Cat5) is connected





gold is subscription based meaning you have to pay per month. It is approx $5 US a month if you buy a year and $7 if you buy a 3 month card.





now if you have a card ready, and your ethernet cable is plugged in


*assuming you have the new xbox experience* go to My Xbox%26gt;go to your profile%26gt;and look for xbox live, if you cant find it, go to the market place and you will find a button that says redeem card





if you have the old xbox dashboard(before november 15th or so) simply go to any tab(except the live marketplace) and click your profile and redeem from the redeem card button or you can go to the marketplace tab and click redeem





you must pay for multiplayer


to play multiplayer, simply go to the game(i have COD:WOW) and choose multiplayer and your off (choose matchmaking/online multiplayer)





-Note that you only need to pay for gold membership so long as your using matchmaking(the online multiplayer function) if your online co-op mode, it is free(at least in halo 3 and COD:WOW it is)

to connect to the internet you first need a router, if you don't have one you can purchase one online at your local electronic store or at amazon.com


If you already have a router you need a Ethernet Cable, again you can find this at your local electronic shop or amazon.com


You have to connect your modem to your router than from your router, plug in one end of the cable to the back (i think) of your xbox360. I don't have a xbox360 personally so i can't be too much of a help.
you have to buy xbox live its like 50-100 bucks for a year
