Can i go online with a modded xbox 360?

Im thinking of buying a modded 360 and had a few questions on it. If I use a different harrdrive can i still go online or not at all with the console? Also, can i only play downloaded games on it or normal games too? And how do i get these downloaded games? I have an Apple computer too so would I be able to download pirated games on that?Can i go online with a modded xbox 360?
This is an illegal question, and the only reason I'm not reporting this as such is to make sure you know all this. You can't go online with a modded system, you will be permanently banned from Xbox Live. Do not choose to steal games, if price is such a problem, buy the games used.Can i go online with a modded xbox 360?
Pros:


Can play backup games, you can download 'em yourself from BitTorrent or something like that, or you can actually look around your city for someone to sell 'em. They are usually 10 bucks or less!, pretty cheap for a game uh. If you do mod the XBOX, try using only VERBATIM cd's, they are the best so far.





Cons:


- You can't play XBOX Live. If you play LIVE with a burned disc, your console will be perm banned from XBOX LIVE and you won't be able to log in ever again, unless you buy another console. But for this, I would say to unplug the ethernet cable everytime you play with burned games.


- If you do mod it, you're gonna lose your XBOX warranty. So if it gets the RROD you won't be able to fix it for free.
If It Is Chipped Then No It Would Wreck The Xbox 360
It depends on the mods....If it is modded to play burned games you could go online with it as long as you didin't mind possibly getting banned from xbox live.
