What do i need to buy to play online on my xbox 360?

I know i need a usb cable but im not if there is a certain kind i should buy at best buy or frys. Im going to be using it with my laptop. I have fast internet (dsl). How much is the subscription? And how do i get it, do i call somewhere?What do i need to buy to play online on my xbox 360?

All you need is some ethernet cable and a Xbox Live membership. They range in price - 1 month, 3 month or 12 month. 12 months is $50 and the best deal. The ethernet cord is cheap - shop at a radio shack for the length you need. Or Fry's - they are cheap too. Like, a few bucks per yeard of cord.





Once you get the xbox hooked up to the internet, you can go to best buy and pick up a Microsoft card that will have a code to get you onto Live. They also sell them at most game stores like Game Crazy, etc.
You need a subscription which over here is 拢34.99 per year / $49.99 per year.





If you are using your laptop as a wireless adaptor you need an Ethernet cable to connect your PC to your 360. Setting up the connections is rather simple, there are tutorials on YouTube to show you have to do it.





If you are not satisfied with the connection quality the only other way to gain an internet connection with you 360 is by buying the Official Adaptor which will set you back around $78.00 (Amazon.com)
does your xbox360 have a hardrive. if you dont then you need one. cost like 50 bucks for it. or just buy an ethernet cable at gamestop. i still recomend the harddrive. then you have to buy the gold card that cost 50 bucks if you want it for 1 year. then you have to buy an intercooler so it wont get hot while playing. wow thats like 150 dollars. you should have but a ps3
