i'm getting a laptop and i'm going to buy left 4 dead the pc version to play online instead of always having to split screen with my older brother to play on the xbox 360. but for one thing i don't know if i can transfer my gamertag on the xbox 360 to still use it for my laptop instead of making a whole new one. and also the two main things that i really NEED TO KNOW is can you play left 4 dead for the pc online with people that are playing left 4 dead online on the xbox 360 and lastly when i do get my laptop and left 4 dead pc game how do i set everything up to play , like do i have to by a certain controller and head set or just keep the same from the xbox, and like how do i set the internet or my laptop up in order to start playing.................................鈥?YOU AND PLEASE PLEASE WRITE BACK A GREAT RESPNSE CAUSE I REALLY NEED THIS THANK YOU AGAIN =DAre you allowed to play left 4 dead online on a laptop %26amp; recover your gamertag on a new laptop from your xbox?
I'm pretty sure that Left4Dead isn't cross platform, sorry. You can still use your gamer tag from the xbox and play with it online, but it'll be with other PC users.
When installing L4D on the computer you need to first install steam. When trying to install L4D I think it'll automatically install it for you as steam is necessary in playing online. The install wizard will lead you through this. Lastly you don't need to have a controller or head set but you can if you want to.
