This only work if you have XP:
1) Run an ethernet cord from your PC to your 360
2) Open network connections.(Start%26gt;Control Panel%26gt;Network Connections)
3)Right click on your wireless connection.
4)Click the Advanced tab and check the box that says ';Allow other users to connect through this computers internet connection.';
5)Connect to xbox live.How can i get my xbox online with this setup?
You would have to buy the wireless adapter for the 360 but it might run slow if someone else is on the internet.
use a multi port nit card and use you dsl or cable modem thru your comp so you will have a firwall and a anti virus
Here's how to do it, and I hope you have the necessary equipment to do this.
If your computer has an ethernet input, plug the ethernet cord from the xbox to the computer. Turn on internet file sharing on your connected computer.
I'm assuming that the two computers are connected, so just turn on the internet sharing connection on the computer in your room, and that becomes the xbox's router. xbox live should be able to read your computer and the internet connection.
That's what I do and it works. Saves me the $100 that MS charges for the wi-fi connector. Hope that helps.
