I'm looking into getting one for Christmas , what type of system is it that just lowered the price down to 199.99 here in Canada , what are the best games to get ...I have ll sports on the PS3 as well as some RPGs. A first person shooter I'd like
Also what does thee package come with , is it Xbox 360 that I'm talking about
I know PS3 online is free , how much for online Xbox
Don't get me wrong I love the PS3 , would just like to have a large variety of gamesI'm a PS3 owner and heard that the Xbox does not break down as much anymore?
Microsoft has upgraded the motherboards on the 360 on two occasions to correct the heating issue. That and they extended their warranty to help fix the older systems. I've had mine for two years now and have never had an issue. I did buy a little cooling fan attachment just in case and that seems to be working. Around Christmas you will get a console, power adaptor, wireless controller, headset, and two games in certain boxes. The arcade version is the cheapest and like said before does not come with a hard drive. The next level up is the standard Xbox and it comes with a small hard drive I think it's 20 gigs. The Xbox elite comes with a much bigger hard drive and also with an HDMI cable.
As for the online system I don't mind paying for it. A gold membership is $60 to start up and then it's 50 bucks every year to renew, woop de do. It's not a crippling amount of money. I mean some people pay for world of warcraft every month. To me that is insane but to each their own.I'm a PS3 owner and heard that the Xbox does not break down as much anymore?
A word of advice... if you're more than a casual gamer, don't even bother with the $199.99 version. Go for the next one up (the Pro). The Arcade (the cheap one) has no hard drive, and no wireless internet. Buying the wireless adapter and the hard drive make it more expensive than the Pro. You can't play original Xbox games or download content without the hard drive, and the memory card it comes with doesn't hold many game saves.
Xbox Live Silver is free, but it's limited. It lets you download stuff, but you can't play co-op. Live Gold is something like $50 a year.
well the system that is 199.99 doesn't come with a Hardrive so you won't beable to save anything.
the package just comes with the system nothing else.
and xbox you must pay for. im not sure why microsoft with all of the money it makes requires you to pay for a service that should be free.
