I've been considering getting an XBOX Live subscription, but I don't know what it entails and I feel like the website it a little too vague for a novice user like me. So, if I decide to go for XBOX Live, what do I need to hook my console up to my computer or my dsl modem or both? I have absolutely no idea how people play online with XBOX, but I'm guessing I need some software and or hardware. Can someone tell me specifically what I'm going to need? Thanks a bunch. What do I need to play my original XBOX, not XBOX 360, online?
You will plug the XBOX directly into a modem or an XBOX approved router (or wirelessly with an adapter). You also need to buy an XBOX Live subscription. You can purchase them at Best Buy or Circuit City. The package you get will explain how to properly set everything up.What do I need to play my original XBOX, not XBOX 360, online?
if u only have a modem then wut u do is the cable that goes from the modem 2 the computer plug the computer side into ur xbox and if u have a router all u do is get an ethernet cable and connect the two (the xbox and the router) and u need a subscription
High speed internet connection, a router would be a good idea so you are not losing your ip addres with your ISP, a subsciption card and a valid CREDIT CARD. no credit card no entry. Also xbox live capatable game.
High speed internet (preferably DSL or satilite) and a XBL account
